Community Resource Guide for Students, May 2016 Edition
The purpose of this guide is to facilitate use of community resources and increase community participation by students and their families.  The Guide is accompanied by a Lesson Plan and Vocabulary List for use as part of Civics education.

USCIS
Official government website that provides extensive information to immigrants, including obtaining a green card and becoming a U.S. citizen. Information provided in English and Spanish.

USCIS Citizenship Study Tests
The Citizenship Resource Center of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service offers detailed information on the naturalization test, including the 100 Civics Questions, as well as other resources for both learners and teachers.  Materials are available in Spanish.

Ben's Guide to the U.S. Government
Produced by the U.S. Government Publishing Office, this site provides extensive and straight-forward information on all aspects of the U.S. government including branches of government, law, historical documents, etc. Designed for K-12, but suitable for adults.

This is an excellent site for helping your student learn about U.S. civics and government includes topics such as voting. It contains many free lesson plans and games.

EL Civics for ESL Students
Offers a wide range of U.S. civics and history topics including holidays, famous Americans, geography, and government.  Tutors will find information for lessons. Some limited ESL content.

US Citizenship Test. Org
This is a YouTube channel with helpful videos on naturalization, civics, and citizenship.
