  • High School Equivalency

    GED is an acronym for General Education Diploma. The GED is a widely recognized exam; however, it is not the only test available that offers students the opportunity to obtain a document that is regarded as equal to a high school diploma.

  • Computer Skills

    A listing of resource Sites to check out, reference and share, and utilize. Addressing topics such as typing, mousing, and other basic computing skills.

  • Work Skills

    Literacy Connection also offers a number of resources for students who are seeking to gain or improve work skills. These include online toolkits and programs that support career awareness and planning, ‘employability skills’ such as problem solving and communication, and curriculum focused on improving reading comprehension related to work skills and job searching.

  • Citizenship Exam Prep

    Information to facilitate use of community resources and increase community participation by students and their families. Includes a Lesson Plan and Vocabulary List for use as part of Civics education.
