Citizenship Tutoring
Literacy Connection offers programs to help students prepare for U.S. citizenship. Our trained volunteer tutors provide 1-on-1 tutoring, group info sessions, and mock interviews to support students in learning the process, practicing test questions, and building confidence for the citizenship interview.

What it is: Practice citizenship interviews in a supportive environment to prepare for the real test.
Who it’s for: Students who have studied for the interview and want realistic practice with volunteer tutors. Attendance in 1-on-1 tutoring is not required. -
What it is: Group sessions that explain the naturalization process, test requirements, and what to expect during the citizenship interview.
Who it’s for: Students who are new to the citizenship process or want an overview before starting tutoring.
